Walk a Village History & Pub Lunch
SUNDAY LUNCH PLUS
formerly " Walk a Village"
Leader: Audrey Fuller
The Sunday Lunch + group meets at 12.30pm on the First Sunday in the month for lunch, usually in a village pub.
This is normally followed by an optional visit to a local nearby attraction which may be a museum, antiques market, a woodland walk, interesting church or building etc.
The members enjoy having a Sunday Lunch with friends and leaving the cooking to someone else!!

Village History
Leader: Elaine Raynsford
Owing to popular demand a second group has been formed for the 4th Sunday of each month.
As of this moment we have a group of 10 but because of other commitments we usually only have 5 or 7 on most Sundays.
We usually meet at a local pub 12 to 12.30 to order for eating at 1. We chat together until the food arrives, then it goes quiet for a while before we start chatting again.
The member who organised the occasion hands out some information about the village which we discuss.
We then go to the village Church and if the weather is good, take a short walk around the village.
It is a friendly afternoon visiting some of our lovely Northamptonshire villages and we enjoy having our Sunday dinner prepared for us.
The organisers will book lunch provisionally, so please will you confirm on the Wednesday before the walk, that you will be going, so that they can firm up the lunch booking !!
