We now meet twice a week

Monday 10.30 ­ 12.30

This section of the group at the moment has 2, occasionally 3 members who all play an instrument.

One plays piano/keyboard, another plays guitar and keyboard and the third person plays guitar.

Two have written songs and the third would like to try.


Friday  13.30  ­ 15.30

This section of the group has 3, occasionally 4 members none of which plays an instrument. Each has written songs and poems.

For both sections of the group I have a musical director who visits for an hour once a fortnight. He can instruct in both instrumental playing, musical scoring and composition and and also in a song writing structure capacity.

Once every 12 weeks (approx.) the two halves have a joint meeting usually with the instructor attending for at least an hour.

The cost of attending any session is £2.50 to cover the instructor¹s fee.

We meet at my home 13, Abingdon which as you know limits the number that I can accommodate in the group.

However, I could manage another 1 on Monday and possibly another 2 on Friday.

( Or a member who may have a relative who would be willing to show us as a group, how to use the computer more effectively to produce music )

We are looking to find and recruit :

Writers, of all kinds. Amateur, professional or even those that have never written anything but have a yearning to have a go at writing lyrics.

Those that compose music or write arrangements.

Anyone interested in joining us that plays any kind of musical instrument.

Anyone who has IT skills that relate in any way to music,either recording or composing/arranging of music on a computer.

If anyone is interested or has an unfulfilled wish to write a song of any genre, please contact me for details.
