This 3 or 4 week mini- course covers the basic techniques for gentle breathing and thorough physical relaxation which prepare a person for meditation.

Relaxation rests the body but the mind is still busy.

Meditation aims to calm and rest the mind.

Daily practice is needed.

You will notice I have given 3 or 4 weeks as the course length because, although we shall meet 4 times I have covered all the essentials and quite a lot of discussion as well, in three weeks.

It is the 15 minutes practice daily which really brings benefits.
