The Quiz group has been running for well over a year now, and we have a hard core of about 18 members.

We now meet on the 2nd Monday of each month at the The Holiday Inn on Bedford Road for a 7.30 pm start.

Although, as group leader, I compile most of the quizzes, I encourage members to 'have a go'.

 I try not to make it too intellectual,  though I don't always succeed and ask the questions to a chorus of groans!

 Each member pays £1 to play and the money collected goes to the winner.

We have a good social evening, getting the use of the Hotel room for free, on condition we 'buy a few drinks'

I am very keen to enlarge the group and would welcome new members.
