The Northampton U3A Golf Society (previously The Golf Group) has be running since July 2008 and now has over 40 full time members. These range from complete beginners to those striving to obtain or improve a handicap.

The aim of the society is to provide members with golf partners for 18 hole, and 9 hole courses, participate in Par 3 golf matches.

Lessons, at reduced rates are available from one of the Delapre golf professionals

Our regular society-playing day is normally Thursday morning but other days and times are often arranged between individual members.

With the growing number of members it has become necessary to have a management committee;
