1st Genealogy Group

Meetings are at Leader’s home from 10-30 to 12-30 on the first Tuesday of each month.

  It is a self-help group for people who are interested in researching their family tree.

  There are some who have found family as far back as the 17th century and others still looking for their grandparents.  With such a mixed group it is successful as everyone is ready to give advice and help.

  Those interested should get in touch with Leader to see if there is a place.

2nd Genealogy Group

This relatively new group was formed to complement the original group which had grown a bit too large and which meets at the opposite side of the town.

We meet on 1st Thursday morning (10.30 am) of the month at the home of our leader in the Weston Favell area of Northampton.

Our knowledge and experience range from comparative new comers to those who have been researching their families for many years.

We all pool our knowledge and between us we have a number of resources available for each other to dip into.

We recently spent a morning learning more about using computers and we are hoping to make visits to Family History Fairs and other relevant events.

Meetings are held Monthly on the 1st Thursday at 10:30am in the leader's home.

The group is composed of people with mixed experience, from virtual beginners to some who have been "at it" for many years.

We have experience of research in a number of counties.

We have access to a large library of books on Genealogy.
