Digital Photography Workshops

Want to get the best from your camera?  Want to take better pictures? 
Want to print your own pictures?  Want to enhance your prints?

 

Then come along to our Spring workshops.

All indoor workshops will be held at the Northampton Bridge Club, 16 The Crescent, Northampton NN1 4BS. 

Cost £3.50 per person to cover room hire, refreshments and handouts provided 6 people attend. Payable in advance.  If less book or attend the charge will be higher.

All workshops are payable in advance, this secures your place.

Book early to avoid disappointment!

Workshop A – Basic Photographic Computing
Thursday 16th February 10.30am-12.30pm

Managing your photos, which will include getting them onto your computer, organising them and backup storage.  Using photoshop and printing your image. 

Cost £3.50. 6 places.

Workshop B – Some more with Photoshop
Thursday 23rd February 10.30am-12.30pm

Further use of photoshop, filters, cropping, titles etc.  Printing to different sizes and in different formats.

Cost £3.50. 6 places.

Three Part Workshop – Taking Better Pictures

You will need to attend all three sessions. 

Cost £7.00

Part 1 a – Thursday 1st March 10.30am-12.30pm 
For those with SLR & bridge cameras.

Tuition in good basic composition illustrated with lots of examples.  Advice on how to use your camera to it's best advantage.  4 places.

Part 1 b – Thursday 15th March 10.30am-12.30pm.
For those with compact cameras.

Tuition in good basic composition illustrated with lots of examples.  Advice on how to use your camera to it's best advantage.  4 places.

Part 2 – Thursday 22nd March – 10.30am-12.30pm
For all 8 participants.

We shall meet at a central place of local interest to put into practise techniques learnt in Parts 1a & b. 

There will be no charge for this workshop.

Part 3 – Thursday 29th March – 10.30am-12.30pm
For all 8 participants.

We shall look at the pictures taken on March 22nd and will discuss what went right and what went wrong!
